El acoso escolar en el contexto educativo: implicaciones en la salud mental de los estudiantes

Resumen

El acoso escolar (bullying) en el contexto educativo constituye un fenómeno complejo que afecta directamente el desarrollo psicológico, social y académico de los estudiantes. Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar las principales formas de manifestación del bullying, su ocurrencia en el entorno escolar y sus implicaciones para la salud mental de los involucrados. Se trata de una investigación bibliográfica con enfoque cualitativo, basada en el análisis de producciones científicas nacionales e internacionales. Los resultados indican que el bullying está asociado con consecuencias significativas, como ansiedad, depresión, baja autoestima y dificultades de aprendizaje, lo que evidencia la necesidad de estrategias institucionales de prevención e intervención. Se concluye que el enfrentamiento del bullying debe involucrar a toda la comunidad educativa, promoviendo prácticas pedagógicas inclusivas y el respeto por las diferencias.
